Parallel to the Murmeli strips, I also continue to work on my other comics that I produced in the late 70s and early 80s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment I’m working on the second fantasy short story, which dates back to the period with \u2018The Devil of the Sevs-Sea\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back then, I added the speech bubbles with text directly into the drawings. The text doesn’t look good and making the bubbles work better in the age of digital lettering.<\/p>\n\n\n

So I completely retouched out the bubbles. In the case of ‘Servants of the Night’, I also did a lot of hatching, which is quite disturbing when you colour digitally. So it wasn’t a ‘one at a time’ job, because I removed the hatching at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n

In the meantime, all 3 pages are already finished. The rest of the work will be done by hand. I have already printed the pages on drawing paper and will fill in the gaps drawings.
