The French version of \u2018Only Fur\u2019 is online and Murmeli&#8217;s version of the Dracula story is ready for publication. &#8211; Time to prepare the next strip:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I came up with the idea for the Murmeli strips, there was no thought of online comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why I designed the pranks as a magazine strip with 3 square images width for \u00bc DIN A 4 page in height.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"507\" height=\"250\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muste-Magazinstripstrip.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4317\" srcset=\"http:\/\/werft.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muste-Magazinstripstrip.jpg 507w, http:\/\/werft.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muste-Magazinstripstrip-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 507px) 100vw, 507px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>For the relaunch a good 2 years ago, I then decided to change to a square layout with 4 instead of 3 images.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"610\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muster-Webstrip.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4318\" style=\"width:auto;height:360px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/werft.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muster-Webstrip.jpg 610w, http:\/\/werft.nauticalfiction.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Muster-Webstrip-300x236.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>So the finished strips had to be remounted. With the previous strips, minor changes to the existing panels were sufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the last finished strip from the 90s is ready for reworking. This will be the first time that a new panel has to be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a gag without words that I had to \u2018compress\u2019 a bit so that it would fit into the original layout.
